1 month in Liberia

It is now more than a month since we are back in Liberia. Switzerland and its beautiful white snow already seem far away.

How are we doing?

Théotime and Siméon have joined the school with 5 other children. They like it there. They prepare a play about pirates 2 afternoons a week and do French with mom 3 afternoons a week. They spend a lot of time outside playing with friends, catching crabs, fishing, planting seeds, riding bikes and more!

Caleb has adapted nicely to his new environment. He wakes us up once a night and delights all visitors with his charming smile. Gabriel is adapting little by little. As he has to relearn English it is more difficult. He is still tired and we can't explain it. We are doing some tests to see how we can help him to recover completely.

And the parents?

Nicolas has resumed his IT job and his main project this month is to put the new system (that he programmed during his time in Switzerland) in the dental clinic! We are looking forward to this step which will allow us to simplify the administrative procedures and generate statistics. In addition, he continues to be part of the committee that is implementing the change in structure of SIM Liberia.

Melvina stayed at home to help all these people get their bearings. However, beautiful projects are announced on the side of the dental clinic and we will speak to you about it soon!
