News from Gabriel

Dear friends, dear family,

Thank you for your many messages about Gabriel. Here is finally some news. Back in Switzerland since the end of March, we did many tests at the CHUV. Nothing could be found but the doctors thought that the parasite track had been sufficiently explored in September.

On our side, we were not at peace. We decided to ask for a second opinion directly from a parasitologist at the Tropical Institute in Basel. He did some additional analysis and a parasite came out positive! This parasite is often asymptomatic but can, in some cases, create symptoms similar to those of Gabriel. Gabriel will finish his treatment tomorrow and we really pray that he will gradually regain all his energy and joy of living!

Thank you Lord for bringing this parasite to light. We continue to trust you with Gabriel's recovery and believe that this parasite was the cause of his discomfort. We are grateful for all the tests that showed nothing "serious" in Gabriel.
